Outside of the energy world, I’m an animal rescue queen (a.k.a. the Cat Woman of Akron).
My son and I have lovingly housed a rotating crew of dogs and cats—sometimes up to 15 furbabies at once.
My crew often inserts their furry opinions into my stories and daily life. They keep things interesting (and covered in fur).
I’m also a sci-fi nerd (yes, I love both Star Wars and Star Trek), obsessed with Doctor Who (#10 forever), Stargate, Firefly, Farscape, The Hobbit, The Wheel of Time, and Harry Potter. I’m a great cook who ignores recipes, and I find social media more of a pain than a pastime.
