Now, I know what some of you might be thinking – Tarot cards? Aren’t those for fortune-telling?. In fact, Tarot and Oracle cards are incredible tools for introspection and self-understanding. They offer a mirror to our subconscious, helping us unravel the deepest layers of our thoughts and emotions.
Each card, with its unique imagery and symbolism, opened doors to parts of my soul I hadn’t explored before. It wasn’t about predicting the future but rather understanding the now – my feelings, my challenges, my dreams. It became a daily ritual, a moment of connection with my inner self.
So, in today’s episode, I’m thrilled to share with you the beauty of using Tarot and Oracle cards for self-reflection. Whether you’re a seasoned reader or new to this world, I hope to offer a fresh perspective on how these cards can be a compass guiding you on your path of self-discovery.

First, let’s talk about Tarot cards. Originating in the 15th century in Europe, Tarot began as a card game. It wasn’t until the 18th century that these cards were adopted for divination. A traditional Tarot deck has 78 cards, divided into two main parts: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana, consisting of 22 cards, represents the significant life events and spiritual lessons. Meanwhile, the 56 cards of the Minor Arcana reflect daily trials and tribulations across four suits – typically cups, wands, swords, and pentacles.
Each card in a Tarot deck has a standard meaning, influenced by centuries of symbolism and interpretation. It’s a structured system, and learning Tarot often involves understanding these established meanings and symbols.
