* Topic: Healing a Broken Heart
When our hearts are broken, the world can feel crumbling around us, but hope and healing are available. One of the techniques I’ve found beneficial during trying times is EFT, commonly known as tapping.
EFT involves tapping on specific acupressure points on the body while verbalizing our feelings and thoughts. Today, I’ll guide you through an EFT script tailored for heartbreak.
Before we begin with the EFT process, let’s get familiar with the tapping points:
- The side of the hand (karate chop point)
- The top of the head
- The eyebrow point
- The side of the eye
- Under the eye
- Under the nose
- The chin point
- The collarbone point
- Under the arm
Ready? Let’s begin.
(tapping the side of the hand): Even though my heart is broken and I feel so much pain, I deeply and completely accept myself.
(tapping the top of the head): This pain feels so profound.
(tapping the eyebrow point): I miss them so much.
(tapping the side of the eye): Why did this happen to me?
(tapping under the eye): I wish things could be different.
(tapping under the nose): I yearn for healing and forward movement.
(tapping the chin point): I know I deserve happiness and peace.
(tapping the collarbone point): It’s okay to grieve and feel this pain.
(tapping under the arm): I am open to healing and finding closure.
Take a deep breath in… and release it. Remember, you can repeat this cycle, and feel free to adjust the phrases to mirror what you truly feel inside.
Alongside EFT, essential oils can offer comfort and therapeutic benefits. Here are a few that can be immensely helpful during times of heartbreak:
Heart Essential Oils
- Rose Oil: Affectionately known as the oil of love, rose oil offers solace and comfort to the grieving heart.
- Bergamot: This oil helps release pent-up emotions, offering a sense of emotional uplift and lightness.
- Lavender: Revered for its calming properties, lavender is ideal for easing anxiety and promoting relaxation.
- Frankincense: A grounding and healing oil, frankincense is perfect for meditation and seeking inner peace.
To utilize these oils, you can diffuse them in your living space, apply them topically when mixed with a carrier oil, or simply inhale directly from the bottle during or after your EFT sessions.
Healing from heartbreak is a journey, not a destination. It requires time, patience, and self-love. Remember, it’s entirely okay to seek professional help if you feel overwhelmed. Surround yourself with a supportive network and believe that brighter days are on the horizon.
