Before new love can take root, the soil of your energy must be cleared.

Every intimate connection leaves a signature within your field—a trace of emotional, sexual, and psychic energy that lingers long after the physical relationship ends. These energetic imprints can tether your vibration to the past, blocking your ability to attract something new and aligned.

This isn’t about erasing memories or pretending the past didn’t happen. It’s about retrieving your energy from where it still lives in someone else’s aura and releasing what no longer nourishes your spirit.

Understanding Energetic Residue

Energy exchange occurs through touch, sex, conversation, and even thought. When two people connect deeply, cords form between their chakras—most often the heart, sacral, and solar plexus. These cords remain active until consciously released.

Unreleased cords can manifest as unexpected sadness, recurring dreams of an ex, physical fatigue, or a feeling of being “tied” to someone long gone.

Energy Clearing Ritual

1. Set your intention. Say aloud:
   “I now release all cords, energy, and emotional residue from past lovers that no longer serve my highest good. I reclaim my energy as whole and sovereign.”

2. Prepare a cleansing bowl. Fill a glass bowl with warm water, a handful of sea salt, and a few rose petals (for emotional healing). Add one or two drops of cedarwood essential oil for grounding and lemongrass for purification. Place a selenite and a rose quartz crystal beside the bowl.

3. Visualize release. As you swirl the water clockwise, imagine every energetic thread that connects you to the past dissolving into light. Feel yourself getting lighter with each movement.

4. Breathe deeply. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, releasing any tension or attachment with each breath.

5. Dispose mindfully. Pour the water outside onto the earth or down a running stream, allowing the released energy to be returned to nature for transformation.

When you’re finished, hold the rose quartz in your hand and focus on filling the space you’ve just cleared with unconditional love. Feel your heart expand as your energy reclaims its natural wholeness.

Signs of Completion

You’ll know your clearing is complete when:

• Thoughts of your ex no longer trigger an emotional response.

• Your dreams shift from revisiting the past to imagining new beginnings.

• You experience a sense of calm neutrality, rather than craving or resentment.

Clearing is both an energetic and emotional act of self-respect. It’s not about forgetting love—it’s about honoring what was and choosing what’s next.
